Project Description

Before commencement of construction on the proposed two-storey residential building at Bamburi Kiembeni Green estate on plot no. MN/11/7293, Proficient Skills Engineers Ltd. was commissioned to perform geotechnical investigations at one trial pit 1 to ascertain the subsurface conditions and close the gap in knowledge of the geologic condition of the area, which will allow for confidence in the design analysis and development of the project, including foundation design.
This geotechnical engineering report represents the desktop study of the area together with the geological and geotechnical ground characterization that was made possible by trial pit excavation, sampling and analysis of field and laboratory data.

The laboratory testing was carried out in accordance with recommendations of British Standards (BS 1377-7) and the American Society for Testing Materials (ASTM) designated D 2938-79.

All information reviewed in this report is based on the ground conditions encountered during the field work and further analysis of laboratory test results. This report therefore presents the best estimate of the likely ground conditions at foundations for the structures.

Execution Strategy

Phased construction planning, strict safety management, quality control systems, and integrated engineering coordination ensured timeline and cost certainty.
